Asteria

Size: 30" x 40"

Framed: 32" x 42"

Medium: Textured Acrylic on Canvas

In Asteria, I wanted the figure to feel as though she is being formed by the flowers around her. The dense floral structure gives her a sense of strength, while the open space and turned pose keep the painting quiet and reflective.
