A solitary sail cuts across a luminous field of blues and violets, suspended between abstraction and atmosphere. The boat appears both grounded in water and dissolving into light.

Colour as structure — deep ultramarine anchors the composition while pale washes suggest reflection, motion, and quiet drift. The central glow functions less as sun and more as presence.

This is not a depiction of sailing.
It is a meditation on direction, stillness, and the illusion of control.
