Lake Hefner at 4pm during the rainy season.
The light is dense and diffused, pressing pink and grey into the sky.

The lighthouse holds its position in softened colour while the water absorbs and fractures the reflection below.
Branches cut lightly across the atmosphere — less storm than residue.

It is an hour suspended in weather.
Not ending. Not beginning. Simply held.
